This is a really nice soft toned photo an "art of art" photo as iI refer to them the photo is art taking a picture of an artistic piece of what I believe is jewelry. I understand the idea of the low lighting effect you were going for but it kinda hurt you some. In photography there is what is known as the tempature of the photo when its dark and a lot of blues and purples the photo is to cold. IF its dominated by a lot of yellows and oranges the photo is considered to be to hot. The problem I see here is that ( and this is mainly seen on the surrounding areas of the photo not so much the main subject) is the strong presence of blues within the purples which makes the photo a little cold. and that in turn also begins to slowly eat away some at the detail of the the main subject ( in this case the butterfly.) There really isn't a way of fixing that unless you use a editing program like Adobe Lightroom and just very so lightly raise the tempture slider to adjust it. The last thing you could also do is sharpen the contrast of the photo this will help your colors and details look sharper int he over all. That being said It's a nice photo and very creative keep up the good work
